MHS HOCKEY LEAGUE PROVES TO BE A SUCCESS STORY Featured

Tuesday, 05 November 2013 11:50

The Hockey League organised by the Malacca High School has proven that where the state hockey associations fail, those with passion for the sport can succeed if given the opportunity.

The six team league is almost at its tailed and provides opportunity for scores of players to play the sport in Malacca, once well known for producing a line of players to don national colours.

From the likes of Chin Boon Ghee, the late Razak Leman, Wallace Tan, the Tam brothers 0 Chiew seng and Kam Seng, right to Mirnawan Nawawi, Ariffin Ghani, to the late Chua Boon Hyat and Nor Azlan Bakar, there can be no doubt that talents were not born but were created with Malacca hosting a number of domestic and national tournaments.

Thus the efforts of the Malacca High School needs to be applauded and this website will carry news and updates of the Hockey League and pays tribute to those behind it.
